My name is Han Xu, which in Chinese means "shy and quiet." When I was born, I cried non-stop and refused to stay still, so my family gave me this name, hoping I would become a calm person when I grew up. Probably because my rebellious period came early, I didn't want to listen to my parents from then on. I ran wildly in the opposite direction of what my name meant.
As a child, once I discovered the allure of television, I became friends with my name through the help of TV. I could sit in front of the TV all day long, quietly and without making any noise (though my family didn't seem very happy about it; I thought they wanted me to be quiet). But ever since then, I've thought that anything that moves, glows, or makes noise is super cool! Right? Right!
As I grew up and learned more, the concept of things that move, glow, and make noise became more concrete for me. Cute animations, cool stage designs, and even simple flat graphics became my passion and gradually became the focus of my life. Attractive and interesting things draw me in and are also the person I strive to become.
Despite growing up, I'm still very loud. But with marketing, design, and my unstoppable mouth, I want to share my ideas and creativity with the world! Sorry, Mom and Dad, it looks like I'll be at odds with your choice of name for me for the rest of my life.
Oh, TV! We're still good friends. I'm working hard to watch every new American TV show that comes out on streaming every day every year, and I've been doing it for almost three years now.
